Baby Sign Language

I just picked up a book on baby sign language because I have always been interested in it! I have heard that baby sign language will reduce a baby’s “pre-verbal” frustrations. I have only read the first chapter but this is what I have learned so far: Babies who sign are less frustrated, have closer bonds with their parents, develop larger vocabularies, become better readers and can “outsmart” babies who don’t sign. I can’t wait for Chris and I to start signing with little Aiden! Here are a few pics of our little man…

Hi, enjoy your postings. My daughter is having her first baby in December at age 36. When I was young we were done at age 30. A new world. I am going to get the Baby Whisperer for her and me…and now I may take a look at this book about sign language. Hope all is better after your storm
