I just picked up a book on baby sign language because I have always been interested in it! I have heard that baby sign language will reduce a baby’s “pre-verbal” frustrations. I have only read the first chapter but this is what I have learned so far: Babies who sign are less frustrated, have closer bonds with their parents, develop larger vocabularies, become better readers and can “outsmart” babies who don’t sign.
