My sweet Aiden has been extremely sick! His fever got up to 104.5 last night. God is good though and somehow through this I have worried very little. I had a dear sweet friend who is full of wisdom write me the most precious email and she said that she remembers the night she gave over her worries(with each child) to the Lord…she said,
” That night I gave him completely over to the Lord and even hesitantly said, “Even if you choose to take him, I have to trust in your Sovereignty because He’s yours.” I knew I couldn’t go on being anxious anymore.”
WOW, such a woman of God. I have tried to worry less and less and tried to let go of my insecurities as a mom…I have to trust that my instincts will not lead me astray and that the Lord will keep Aiden in His safety. This baby boy is usually as active as they come but this is what we have been doing for the past couple of days:
