Casey Wiegand Art Giveaway

Photobucket

Photobucket

I have been wanting to do a giveaway of my own work for awhile! So here is the way it will work....this is my bio below for those who do not know me. You can check out my website here. I will do a FREE commission 24 x24 painting on birch plywood. If you live near me you will have to come & pick it up....if you are out of state you will have to pay for shipping. I will paint you something unique that goes beautifully in your home....a cross for your baby's room, an abstract for your living room....you make the call!

I have a passion for art, people and serving the Lord. Finding the deep creativity behind our amazing creator is a way that He can move in our souls.
My cards & paintings are all ways I can give back these gifts to Him. I hope that even my weaknesses can be transformed into beautiful expressions of peace, love and serving. I am constantly amazed by God’s creativity in the world and the ability He has given me to uniquely express how I see it.
(this is the bio I submit to galleries with my pieces) Born in 1983; Casey grew up in Dallas and then in 2005 earned a Bachelors Degree in Education from Baylor University. Casey taught art for four years at Highland Park Presbyterian Day School and opened up her dream studio with her husband, Chris, called “A Little Artsy”. She is a self taught artist and participated in her first and only juried art show in 2008 at the Dallas City Arts Festival and won a 2008 Jury Award for her paintings. She was also commissioned by the Children’s Cancer Fund in Dallas to create an original piece that would benefit their cause. She has been shown in numerous galleries and you can find more of her work at caseywiegand.com.

I really like the piece you did in the top center of your collage. I'd love something simple with only three or four colors. I don't have a baby yet, and I'm not pregnant, but I'm hoping God will bless me with a child someday, so I'd want something for the baby's future room.

I love reading about your family :-)

FUN idea. Loving the giveaway opportunity!

Okay, if I won, I would want something that's reminiscent of feminine nature. I love peonies, so maybe colors like cream, robin's egg blue, soft green, burlap tan, and a soft pink. It would go in my dream guest bedroom, which I envision having a lot of whites and ranging blues. I have no particular image in mind so anything you made would be amazing.

I know it says the weekend, but I'll go ahead and comment in case you haven't chosen a winner yet because your work is absolutely incredible.
