A blog I love to look to for inspiration is A Beautiful Mess! I wanted to try her messy bun (from here) combined with a sock bun tutorial I saw on pinterest (here).
My hair is super thin so I wanted it to look more full by adding in the sock! My hair also naturally has the "messy look" so I am not going to lie... you could kind of see the sock between the two! So I chose a fun argyle one to make it look like a hair accessory and a combo of these two tutorials actually made me look like I had full, thick hair!

  4. Casey you're just so beautiful! I hope you are really soaking up the lovely time in California! I lived in SO. Cal. For awhile and really missed the stars. You know, the ones in the sky (heehee) . Nothing like the big skies of Texas to show you how BIG our God really is. (yes I've lived almost everywhere).

  24. Oh, I used to play with my grandmothers hair rat. That is what used to be used where you are using the sock, to roll the hair over.
