This week is kickin' my bootie.
Im serious.

I am not a schedule out our days kind of person but I am thinking I may need to start doing that a little bit.

But the good news is that every day is new day,
there is hope in tomorrow.
I have these two beauties to wake up to, along with sweet Chris and many other blessings.

Also, I have been up to some seriously fun new projects I can't wait to share with you.... involving photos, cards, another top secret one....and so many new paintings are in the works as of last night. So good things are coming soon!

I know there will be weeks that I am short on words...so thank you for loving me through it :).
happy weekend friends :) xoxo

  3. Aiden and Ains are so adorable! I can't say it enough.

Those shirts are cute and looks so soft and comfy. How do you get Ainsleigh to keep those cute headbands on? My girls won't keep theirs on.

I also need to make a schedule and stick to routines but it's not in my nature. I know my kids need it but it stresses me out so much.

I'd love to hear how you implement a schedule/routine into your family. Being that we are similar in some ways, I'd love to get some tips if they work for you.

    Have a wonderful day Casey!!

  4. That mermaid shirt is adorable.

I'm not a day planner, either, and I think that's okay. People always tell me that little ones need schedules. I have to disagree. I think little ones need spontaneity and love and freedom. As long as we eat around the normal times and sleep when it's dark, we are good.

    Happy weekend.

  10. I can tend to be scatterbrained, hate using a calendar and am not a scheduled person in general, but I've found having a schedule with my 17 month old has given me so much freedom - I LOVE it. As for the spontaneity bit, I think spontaneity comes as more of a delight when it happens within a scheduled routine because then it's a break from the norm which can seem more special. Spontaneity all of the time might be misinterpreted by your kids as chaos; I think having an idea of what to expect is comforting to them - and helps us stay sane as mamas.

It works for us, so don't beat yourself up if it helps your family but don't stick to one if it doesn't work! There isn't one way to do this parenting thing is there? Praise the Lord that He uses our personalities and strengths but gives us grace in our weakness when raising our kids! Blessings to you all in this busy season!

  31. Your family is so stinkin' cute! And your kids are adorable! I could just eat them up.

I'm totally not a schedule-my-days kind of person. But if I'm ever going to get anything done, I think I need to become one. I'm SO not good at blocking time out. If you come up with any good tips, please share!
