a lifestyle blog about motherhood, intention, whimsical moments, and wellness
a dallas art show.
This is the second year in a row I will be showing/selling my art at Summer Colors- it is a silent art auction that benefits Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
Chris & I have done a lot of volunteer work at this hospital; we have taught art classes to sick kiddos & gone to “hand camp” for a weekend retreat to helpout. Chris has gone on the retreat numerous times.
A percentage of each painting sold goes right back to the hospital and I could not be more thrilled to be a part. If you are in the area and would like to come, we would love to have you!
My friends adopted a little girl who has some issues with her hand and they have been working with Scottish Rite! What a wonderful thing to be involved with! If I lived in the state I would come.

makes my heart soar that you guys make the time for things that touch the community and people in need. i also love that i first met you ONE YEAR ago at the first one you sold art at. it was a blast!
i love seeing people come together for a good cause 🙂 i pray that my husb and i will be able to find something that we are both passionate about doing volunteering together 🙂 (other than the possibility of us becoming missionaries… which may very well happen in the future… but before then… something local and beneficial to our communities while we prepare to join in on the Great Commission!)
OH how i wish i lived in Texas, or even nearby!!! Congrats and good luck, its really a phenomenal thing that you and Chris do, and you both are so incredibly talented, SUCH an inspiration to me 🙂
If we were anywhere in the vicinity we would so love to come in support of you and this awesome cause Casey. Am sure it will be great…your art, as usual, is fantastic!
