hospital. again.

well. I wanted to give a little update.

Friday afternoon I was admitted to the hospital. Late late Friday night they were able to stop  labor and I will remain on the meds that prevent contractions. (I will continue to take those every 6 hours.)

For some reason the meds that I am on have been giving me awful headaches so I have mostly been sleeping since I got here.

I am 33 weeks today (Sunday) and they will most likely keep me here until we make it atleast to 34 weeks. Everything is a bit up on the air right now, but it looks like atleast a week hospital stay.

I am super sad to be away from the babies!!!! Ah, tears! I really can’t put in words how my heart feels about being away from them. So so sad. But also thankful that we are taking care of our sweet Apple. They have been able to come up and hangout here some which has been really great
& we have done lots of facetime on the computer! A huge thank you to both our families for all the help as well!!
Aiden keeps hugging on the computer screen and telling me to come home which is just about too much for my heart to handle.

I could not be any more grateful for Chris, he is so sweet and has just been so great through all this. He never ceases to amaze me.

If anything changes I will update! Thank you soooo so much for all the sweet tweets and emails- we feel the love and it means everything.

Our hope is to be able to keep Apple put past 36 weeks, we will see!

xoxo

hope you make it to 34 weeks hun! but those steroids & extra weeks you have managed to keep her in there would have made such a huge difference. you are pretty much in the same situation now that i was in – hospital at 33 weeks hoping to induce at 34. (i made it to 33+6)…. i'm thinking of you & hope that sweet little apple stays put for now. often the drugs to stop labour don't work, so be thankful that they have. 🙂

    Father,
You are the Giver of life and You designed Casey's womb as the safest most nurturing place for Apple to grow and develop. We ask that You would calm Casey's contractions so You can continue to knit this baby together until she is fully ready, in Your perfect timing, to enter our atmosphere. Thank You for the medical care they are receiving…please guide the physicians that are caring for them. May You give Chris and Casey Your supernatural peace during this time of transition, and grant a smooth arrival for Apple into their waiting arms. Be with their family as they adjust to a new little person, and may Apple bring a whole new measure of love and joy to their family. For His glory…Amen

I hope Apple stays inside a little longer! I had those meds, every 6 hours.. and I also felt it's side effects. Good luck..you are close to the end, everything will be okay x

Praying for you and your family! Being away from the babies is hard I can imagine. Hang in there! I don't know if I've told you this, but I love the name you chose. I first heard it a few years ago when Gwyneth Paltrow named her daughter that and I've always wanted an Apple since then. When I saw your name pick, I was like, no way! So rare and so beautiful. 🙂
