tree skirt c/o" snowdrift designs
stockings: aubreyplays
casey shirt c/o: impeccable pig

Last week we went and picked out our Christmas tree... made hot chocolate, put on the movie Elf and decorated for Christmas! This time of year makes me so incredibly happy. It's so true that when you have kids around the magic of Christmas comes alive again in a whole new way. I just love seeing it all through their eyes.

The smell of our tree plus the hum of Hotel Cafe, Winter Songs playing is just perfection.

** in case anyone is curious: black & white rug is an early Christmas present from Chris, from IKEA (can find it here) and the lamb mat that Apple is on is from here!

  19. Just wondering... how do you manage to enjoy all the fun stuff with your kids (like presents,Santa etc...) but still make sure they know that Christ's birth is the reason we celebrate Christmas? I don't have kids yet and I just wonder how you and your husband have decided to handle that. Thanks!
