I had been telling Chris how much I would love to have a chalkboard wall in our playroom for the past few weeks and then last week I took Apple to the doctor for one of her well visits and came home to a beautiful surprise!
I'm serious, this was the sweetest! Chris was so excited to surprise me and Aiden was smiling ear to ear.
Not only did he manage to paint the whole wall with their help but he took pictures the whole time to document it! I am making a few more small changes to this room and then I will share a playroom post!

ReplyDeleteMy hubs surprised me with a chalkboard wall once too! So fun! The playroom is adorable!
ReplyDeleteHow incredibly fun!
ReplyDeleteI love how excited he was about helping. I think its so good when parents let the kids really help with things ... even if its a little messier and takes a bit longer. :)

Great idea for encouraging a creativity in an acceptable "spot"!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I did a wall in my sons room and the trick I learned is to use coke to clean it. Everything else leaves that foggy film but coke makes it look brand new!
ReplyDeleteone of the first things that i will do, upon moving into our someday house (we're renting, currently, and dreaming of owning our own home), is to paint a chalkboard wall. LOVE.
ReplyDeleteAdorable...I love how your dogs clearly love your children so much, the larger of the two makes me smile every time I see him...seems so sweet. Your children are of course incredibly cute...and they are lucky to have the love of those pups as well!
ReplyDeletethat looks awesome! every bit of it is such a nice surprise!
ReplyDeleteOh, how sweet :)
