ReplyDeleteI would would pay off the very first of my student loans (it's at $1450 right now) and probably have just enough left over to treat myself to yummy coffee drink!
ReplyDeleteI would use it to pay for a chunk of my tuition! And I'm focusing on giving during the season of Lent, so it would be a huge blessing in that area.

ReplyDeletejust love // kelly
My husband and I are moving to Nepal this April, as we were asked to come and work at an aftercare home for precious women rescued out of sex-slavery. I recently watched the trailer for the new documentary on sex-trafficking called "Nefarious" and again my heart was broken for the evil that exists in this world. I would joyfully donate this money towards the aftercare home we are working with as they continue to care and pour love into these women's lives.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to find a way to stay at home and find peace after the death of my daughter. Any extra money I can make means getting to take time to heal and figure out this new life.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I've racked my brain trying to come up with what I would truly do if I won, but I don't know!! I would definitely have to pray about it...! It would be really neat to pay it forward!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the chance! :)
Like many women, I've always dreamed of being a mother. After 4 years, I'm still unable to conceive and embarking on IVF to the tune of $20,000. I'm lucky because we can afford it. But many people cannot. I'm in the process of starting a non-profit to help underprivileged families achieve their dream of becoming parents. I would use this money for that goal and of course credit you lovely ladies!
ReplyDeleteIf my husband lands a job out of state soon, I would use the money to help our family with moving expenses!
ReplyDeleteI would put it toward a vacation with my hubby and baby girl!
ReplyDeleteI would fly to New York and go shopping!
ReplyDeletemargueritecore [at] gmail [dot] com
Missions trip to Africa to visit my sponsored children.
ReplyDeleteOh...so much could be done with $1500! Medical bills for one, but a little shopping would have to be done!
ReplyDeleteOh what fun I could have with 1500 extra bucks! I would have to be responsible and pay some medical bills, but a little shopping spree for my Cami would be in order! XOXO thanks guys!
ReplyDeleteOh...so much could be done with $1500! Medical bills for one, but a little shopping would have to be done!
ReplyDeleteI would use it towards the dental work my husband is in he middle of right now!
ReplyDeleteFifteen hundred dollars would buy a lot of groceries...and then I'd spend some of my grocery money on fabric for quilts.
ReplyDeleteI would use it towards the dental work my husband is having one right now.
ReplyDeleteI would buy diner for a stranger.
ReplyDeleteI would get my husband a new robe (he's been wanting one for ages).
I would get a mani/pedi.
I'd put it in savings for a family vacation!
ReplyDeleteI would put it toward our student loans! But spend a little on my husband and son first :)
ReplyDeleteOh man! I could do a lot with $1,500! I would probably invest some in my business and then either put the rest toward our wedding or maybe pay some more of my student loans.
ReplyDeleteI would probably pay on my overdue school bill. I'm still in college and this semester is not cheap. Great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome giveaway! I would use it to pay off debt. We are chipping away every month. This would help so much.
ReplyDeleteI would put it towards a trip this summer!
ReplyDeleteI would buy myself a pair of Sam Edelman Petty and save the rest for my 9 month daughter since I recently got laid off from my job.

ReplyDeleteWith 1500 I'd take your family and mine to six flags!
ReplyDeleteSuper thrilling but I would use it to pay some bills so we could save up for some extra money before baby number one arrives!!
ReplyDeleteI just bought my first home and have been busy doing renovations, so this would be HUGE in helping me finish things off!

ReplyDeleteI would use this to help charity, my family, pay for my consultant's fee for my knee surgery, craft stuff and the rest would go towards the holiday that my boyfriend and I are planning for december :)
ReplyDeleteTanya xx
I would assuredly put it toward the new pair of hearing aids I have to buy next week. $3700 and insurance doesn't cover a dime! All so I can have a normal conversation. Dang genetics.
ReplyDeleteI would surprise my husband with a beach vacation to celebrate our 5 year anniversary this May!
ReplyDeleteI would buy my new kitchen table. Our kitchen is the heart of our home with our two daughters. We eat, snack, do homework, craft, puzzles, artwork, my handpainted tea cup business, read and more. And our current table is too small! I am so ready for a new table and chairs!
ReplyDeletemy little man's savings account :)
ReplyDeletei would pay down our home loan!!!!
ReplyDeleteI would spend it on a plane ticket to Europe to visit my friends in Budapest!
ReplyDeletePay off debt! :]
ReplyDeleteI'm a newlywed middle school teacher working on National Board Certification. My state asks teachers to pay the $2500 application fee out of pocket and then reimburses the fees. I'd use the $1500 to pay off my credit card debt from the application process, and when the reimbursement comes use it toward a down payment on a home.
ReplyDeleteI would pay off some student loan debt and car payments! Thanks for an awesome giveaway!
ReplyDeletexoxo

What wouldn't I do with it?! We desperately need new living room furniture, my car's AC needs fixing, I'm planning a trip to Maine with my kids to see my Dad who's in the hospital (he just had a stroke) and could use all the extra cash I can get, and then of course there are always bills to pay.
ReplyDeleteI would buy a bugaboo stroller! This mama of four NEEDS a good stroller.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I would use it toward a down payment on a house...
ReplyDeletePut it towards a new vehicle we are going to need to get. Bad week last week - husband's truck broke and will be minimal $4000 to fix, one of his work vehicles also broke last week too. Definitely wasn't in our budget to be updating both of those so soon :(
ReplyDeleteUse it for our family trip this spring!
ReplyDeleteI would buy some furniture for my twins' "big kid" bedroom... Since we're expecting our second set of twins in October :)
ReplyDeleteI'd give some to my church and pay off debt with the rest!

ReplyDeleteI would sign my 5 year old son Hudson up for ski camp over February break. He has juvenile diabetes and I thought this might be good for him. My husband and I would love to take him away for the night too. He's one of three, but we thought it might be nice to do something special with just him :-)) happy valentines day! Thanks for the opportunity to enter!
I would sign my 5 year old son Hudson up for ski camp for next weeks February break. He has juvenile diabetes and it would be great for him to do this! He's one if three children, but because of his condition, my husband and I would love to take him to an over night and have some special time with just him ;-) happy valentines day to all!! Xo

ReplyDeleteI would save it to put toward my wedding!
ReplyDeleteOooooo! I would probably grab a better lens for my camera, and maybe a computer?
ReplyDeleteProbably get a new pair of shoes and use the rest for bills!
ReplyDeleteWith baby # 2 on the way and a 13 month old at home I would take a weekend trip with my hubby for some time away together before things get super exciting around our house! :)
ReplyDeleteWe're having our first baby in July so I'd get started on that nursery and put some in savings - learning that kids are expensive(but worth it:))
ReplyDeleteI would spend the money on some new duds for Marleigh (my daughter), and a few for myself! I'm starting a new part time job next week and need to trade in my business casual wardrobe for some fun new clothes! :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteOne of my dearest friends is getting married in September and with the hubs out of work it might be nearly impossible to make it there.. I'd put some of that money towards getting to Virginia, and then with the other, I'd help make my hubs dream of running his own remodeling company a reality. Fingers and toes and hairs crossed!
ReplyDeleteI would use it towards paying off our debt as we strive to be debt free. Not very exciting....but it will be so nice to be financially free!
ReplyDeleteTo pay off debt!
ReplyDeleteThis giveaway is so generous! I would use th money to pay for groceries for the rest of the year and then use the money budgeted for groceries to save for house repairs, or any upcoming bills in the emergency fund! It would such a blessing to be able to use this money towards keeping my family happy and healthy!
ReplyDeleteDecorate! :-)
ReplyDeleteHalf to my husband's school debt, half to a trip to Ohio for him to see his best friends from going to grad school there. He misses them more than he'll admit!
ReplyDeleteI would pay off a bill and give the rest to my mom who gave up so much to stay home so my little girl does not have to go to daycare!
ReplyDeleteAs unexciting as it may be, I'd use as much as I could to decrease our debt! We've been married for six months, and one of our goals for 2013 is to pay off credit card debts. Student loans and a car take longer, so we're focused on one thing at a time.
ReplyDeleteI would put it into our savings for a new house. We are busting at the seams of our current home. 3 kids with either large age gaps or gender differences in a 3 bedroom house, with no basement and in one of the worst school districts in our state is no bueno :(
ReplyDeleteI would use it to pay for my wedding and moving expenses to Africa. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWow! What an amazing group of ladies and what and amazing giveaway!!!! $1,500 would be a huge chunk of our next need for our adoption!!! I would love to win!!!

ReplyDeleteI would either pay some bills or put it toward the growing list of things I will need for my baby boys arrival in May!
ReplyDeleteI have lots of crafty DIY projects on my list.
ReplyDeleteI would put the money towards furnishing my new place with my boyfriend (:
ReplyDeleteOh there are so many things that could be done with an extra $1500! Probably should pay bills but what I would LOVE to do is get new carpet! Especially since my baby girl is on the verge of crawling!
ReplyDeleteI would take my hubby to NYC! We've been dreaming of going together!

ReplyDeleteI'd put the money towards the new floors my house needs!!
ReplyDeleteI would buy a new laptop to continue blogging (mine just crashed...eep!) I would get a celebration coffee from Starbucks and probably have a fun dinner out with my family.
ReplyDeleteI would buy some new clothes, some new workout equipment, and then save the rest for a rainy day! :)
ReplyDeleteHow nice!
ReplyDeleteI would either use it to pay off my student loans some more, or use it towards my wedding! That way we wouldn't have to worry about budget *quite* so much.
ReplyDelete$1500...the road trip I have currently planned for my sweet girl (age 2) and I in April would be slightly more indulgent! :) I've been following your blog a few months now, and really, really enjoy your stringing of words.
ReplyDeleteA new couch!!! We spend a lot of time on our couch playing games, snuggling, reading, watching movies, morning coffee and it's had it's fair share of life.
ReplyDeleteI would take a vacation with my hubby. We are long overdue :-)
ReplyDeleteI would cover my porch for shade...the Texas sun can be grueling.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to win this, I would FINALLY pay off the hospital bill from when I had my son...TWO YEARS AGO. Just in time for his baby sister's arrival at the end of March.
ReplyDeleteI would let my hubby have it. Having one income really takes work, my hrusband stays home with our son and I know he would like a little time and fun to himself.
ReplyDeleteI would put the prize money towards the renovations on the fixer-upper we just bought! Thanks for the opportunity! What a generous give-away! :)
ReplyDeleteI am getting married in May and my fiance has never seen California. I would put it toward a honeymoon, and to see a friend whom I haven't seen in years.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I's first wedding anniversary is coming up in March. We've been pretty strapped and very busy lately, so it would be soooo fun to surprise him with a little trip to Hawaii. Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteI would spend the extra $1500 on furniture for the house my husband and I just bought.
ReplyDeleteI would pay off medical bills and buy a new wardrobe since I've lost 30 lbs:-)

ReplyDeleteWe just bought our first house in April and our van this fall because we had another beautiful baby boy :) So I would use the money to help pay off the van and actually have money to finally have shelves, pictures and other things you need for a new home.

ReplyDeletePregnant with second child, they'll be 15 months apart, so I need repeat furniture. I'd love to have some extra cash for that.
ReplyDeleteI would go on a trip with my 3 olders sisters to spend time together as just girls- since we just lost our mom 6 months ago- a girls trip is needed!!
ReplyDeleteI would go and visit my husband who is living in Seattle while we are trying to sell our house!
ReplyDeletei would add it to our future children's college fund!

ReplyDeleteand then i would never let the dog in the basement ever again.
I have debts to pay and always like to share.
ReplyDeleteI would finally elope! We've been engaged since NYE 2011, and crisis after crisis has depleted our wedding fund. I have my dress and ring. All we need now is his ring and an inexpensive destination!
ReplyDeletePay off credit cards or sign up for a couple marathons! ;)
ReplyDeleteI would use the money to enroll at an arts institute for photography. And spoil my husband and I with a night out on the town.
ReplyDeleteThanks :]
I'd invest in some things for my hope chest...that way I'd have things to start housekeeping with when I get married and move out next summer!

ReplyDeleteOur 10 year old eMac computer just died, so I would use the money to buy a new computer. Don't know when we'll be able to replace it, and of course, I have a million things I need it for right now!
ReplyDeleteI really need a new computer. Our 10 year old eMac just died and I don't know when we'll be able to replace it. My son used it for school and half our life was on that thing, I'm dying without it!
ReplyDeleteFirstly, I'd spend 10% to help a family I know that's going through a hard time financially by taking them some groceries/goodies. Boringly, the rest of it we would use to pay bills. My husband and I are trying desperately to save $$ so I can be a stay at home mama to my 15 month old, and so the majority $1500 gift card would go mostly to paying our bills so we could stash some extra savings. It'd put us that much closer to our dream of me being home with my girl!
ReplyDeleteA mini family vacation :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to spruce up our home a bit. Free groceries would be awesome, too! Thanks so much for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI would pay some bills--and go out for a nice dinner with my husband!

ReplyDeleteMy husband is in graduate school so I would probably use it on practical things like groceries. Lame, I know, but any extra counts!
ReplyDeleteI'd move out of my terrible apartment sooner rather than later and I might just buy this cute Frida Kalho shirt I've been looking on etsy. :)
ReplyDeleteI would use it to help fix our home. we have been living in a hotel since our sewage flooded our home. we have a 14 month old so its very challenging. the insurance covered some but we dont have enough money to pay anyone to do the work after paying the deductible. we have a lot of work ahead of us and this would def. be a blessing so that we can live at home again soon!

ReplyDeleteUse it for college! Or a nice trip :)
ReplyDeleteI would use it to buy 2 sets of plane tickets. We are stationed on the east coast and it costs about $700 to fly back home to California, where all our family is.
ReplyDeleteThe first set would be for my in-laws to fly out here (money is tight for them, where as my parents use my dads frequent flyer miles from business trips) to visit us and meet their first grandchild when she is born this summer.
The second set would be to fly home for Christmas so both sets of soon to be Grandparents can spend it with our baby girl. Christmas is about family after all.
Wow. So many things.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely treat the kiddos to a fun something each! Happy Valentine's Day. xo

i'd probably do something responsible with most of it, but i'd def work in a little shopping. it's almost a new season, right??
ReplyDeleteI would put it towards my August wedding that, as of now, my amazing parents are paying for. Then, maybe they would do something they never do - treat themselves!
ReplyDeleteI would put it towards my August wedding that, as of now, my amazing parents are paying for. Then, maybe they would do something they never do - treat themselves!
ReplyDeleteThis would go straight toward my credit card debt.... oh, yes, it would be great! http://likeordinarylife.com
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be boring and say use it for bills! My husband is a former Marine who is in school and works PT for Dominos. He was attacked and robbed on Superbowl Sunday is a bad part of town by a guy on drugs who had a knife... When he tried to get away, he swerved and went into a fence and ruined our car... Which wont be fixed til March!! So, bills is what I would do with it :)!
ReplyDeletePaying bills plus a nice dinner out for my family!!
ReplyDeleteI would donate the money to my local YMCA! I love our YMCA and believe so much in their mission...based on Christian Principles and Values...there aren’t many organizations that stay true to that anymore!
ReplyDeleteI would pt it towards student loans and a charity, probably the pet rescue center where I adapted my little girl.
ReplyDelete$1500? After a little bit of shopping for me, my husband, and baby, I would put the rest toward the down payment for some land we are hoping to purchase.
ReplyDeleteI would probably use it to decorate my new house because I never have extra cash on hand for decorating! :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to fully pay off one of my student loans. I've been waiting to start a nonprofit to serve homeless veterans until I paid off at least one loan. This would allow me to do that!
ReplyDeleteI would put it towards my finances. Recently lost my job and it would help. With my savings dwindling down it would give a little cushion so that i can still be able to do the little things for my son, like go out for ice cream :)
ReplyDeleteI would pay bills, buy stamps, new eye glasses and perhaps a Silhouette Cameo.
ReplyDeletei'd put the money towards our wedding. we're still in college and saving every penny, but it would still help immensely :) thank you for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteWith an extra $1500 I'd buy my wife the Algerian Love Knot necklace...she has always wanted one.
ReplyDeleteI would use the $1500 to help my parents pay for my upcoming trip to Paris and Germany!
ReplyDeleteOh wow... I'd save it in anticipation for grad school debt!
ReplyDelete
