There is just one mandatory entry & that is to leave a comment below telling me 'What would you do with an extra $1500?' The rest are bonus entries and totally up to you!

I would probably do something for the kids play area/burson's room!
ReplyDeleteWould love to go on a vacation with the hubby!! Time to get away!
ReplyDeleteI would pay off several utility bills, buy a few things for my home, and put the rest into paying off my student loans. I know it is a boring answer, but it would be incredibly helpful.
ReplyDeleteI'm a beginning teacher so I would buy fun things for my students to learn in their classroom :)
ReplyDeleteI would pay for my tuition!
ReplyDeleteI would go fly to see friends from my hometown, been so homesick lately
ReplyDeleteI'm leaving in April to serve in Oslo, Norway as a missionary for my church. I would use the money to help pay for the expenses of my mission! It would be so helpful. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love this giveaway! I would put the money toward our future baby!
ReplyDeletexoxo
I would put it toward our renovation costs to convert a room into a nursery for our third baby on the way!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhh my goodness! Of course my first thoughts go to mortgage, studnent loans, groceries, etc...but I'd be lying if I didn't say I'd have to go to TARGET (aka, a momma's heaven on earth)! ;)
ReplyDeleteI would pay off my student loans!
ReplyDeleteIt would go toward the down payment on on my first home. Today I found out that we are about 2k short and I'm pretty heartbroken.
ReplyDeleteI would put it on the debt we have so we can start saving for a downpayment!
ReplyDeleteI would definitely take my babies to Disneyland. My four year old has been asking for almost two years! She'd be in princess heaven!! :)
ReplyDelete1. I would spend about $20 on a bike at Goodwill for the girls and I to get around town with since we just had an accident last week that totaled our only car.
ReplyDelete2. I'd spend about $100-150 on finishing the process of getting my new business launched.
3. I'd send $100 to my mother-in-law who was recently declared disabled because of her harsh working conditions at her job. She's not doing so well on money.
4. I'd take Eden (my daughter) out to buy bleach-free diapers + lots of organic farmer's market food with the rest of the money so we could donate it to the local food & homeless shelters because we really don't need the money as we are able to take care of all our basic needs with no issues. This money would enable us to be able to give to others.
Put it into an account for my future baby. I'm not married or pregnant but I want to be sure that one day my child(ren) are without want.
ReplyDeleteWe are working on buying our first home!! Save it!!
ReplyDeleteI would pay the bills for my husbands back surgery!
ReplyDeleteI would pay off my credit card bill, and spend the rest on my family doing something fun!
ReplyDeleteI would definitely put a good chunk of it towards paying for a car, but the other would go towards a camper. We've been searching for an inexpensive way to have family time away together each summer and a camper seems to have won out! Now we just need to be able to pay for one...
ReplyDeleteI would pay off debt. Between student loans and old credit cards, it is overwhelming.
ReplyDeleteI would love to get a few birthday gifts from some of my favorite Etsy shops for my fiancée. We also have a few bills that could stand to be lowered a bit. Thanks for the chance!!
ReplyDeleteI would buy a dining table for our home... the one we have my parent's bought when I was a little girl and it's been broken/"fixed" 3 times!
ReplyDeleteIf I won the $1,500, I would plan a little weekend getaway for my husband and I; I would treat my mom to a massage and lunch; and, I would save the rest for a rainy day (or, shopping trip!)
ReplyDeleteI would pay off some credit card debt in hopes to buy a new house soon for my ever-expanding little family!
ReplyDeleteI would use the money to help pay for fertility treatments
ReplyDeletemy husband and I are still trying for our first. I think I would
also help my friend who is going through a rough time.
I would use the money to help a friend who is going through a hard divorce. I would also love to use some to help with my fertility treatments so my husband and I can hopefully get pregnant with our first baby.
ReplyDeleteI would pay for my husband to finish his education. And if there was any left over I would go and spend it on family, cause they are what matters most. :)
ReplyDeleteI would use a part of it to buy groceries and pay off a small bill I still have on a credit card. Then I would ask God to show me who I could bless around me. I am a missionary in Lima Peru, so I am sure that finding someone or alot of someones would not be far-fetched!! Thanks!
ReplyDeletewonderful giveaway! i would fly home and visit my family, and get a few more tickets to fly my husband and i to portland this summer for a friend's wedding.
ReplyDeleteI would use the money to pay off student loans, or put it in our house fund. Oh the possibilities! :)
ReplyDeletestart the little frame business i've been wanting to do for too long :)
ReplyDeleteI would take my husband on a trip, pay off some loan money and give some away!
ReplyDeleteI would use the $$ to help pay off our mortgage. We are trying to become financially free so I can stay at home with with our two sweet boys.
ReplyDeleteI would take my mom to the beach for a week for her 72nd birthday. Back in 2004, we went to the beach for a week just the two of us and it was the best vacation ever and since hasn't been on one since. She and my dad ran a lawn service business their whole lives (they were married almost 50 years), which they had to close when he started getting sick and had to have a leg amputated in 2009. My dad passed away in 2010 and she's been getting by on social security since. With whatever's left over, I'd probably do something related to my own health. Maybe a preventative visit I've been putting off or a new pair of glasses so I don't have to rely soley on my contacts. I tend to take care of myself last, but need to do better in this area, in order to take care of all the people I love. OR tires for my car. Or keep a reserve for vet bills, as I have a sick dog that hasn't gotten a firm diagnosis yet. The possibilities are endless...the more I think about it...the more I realize I don't know what I'd do and if I win, I'd have to do some serious praying about what the right thing would be.

ReplyDeleteMy best friend is packing up her family and moving to Spain this week to be missionaries. I would use the money to go visit her when I miss her and her babies too much!
ReplyDeleteI would use it to buy groceries or pay the mortgage!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Mary

I would buy groceries for a couple of months & give some away to a friend in need.
ReplyDeleteI would put it towards my student loan!
ReplyDeleteChurch donation and after that my grandparents would get a large part because extra spending money is something they do not often have, and if there was any funds left bills :)
ReplyDeleteChurch donation first, then grandparent donation because extra spending money is so they do not have a lot of. If there was any funds left , there's bills ;)
ReplyDeletePay our mortgage!!
ReplyDeletePay our mortgage!
ReplyDeleteI would put it to buying our first home!
ReplyDeleteI would put it to buying our first home!
ReplyDeleteI have recently stepped out in faith and quit work to stay home with our 5 children, so the extra money would help buy groceries for all those mouths. :)
ReplyDeleteI would save it in case my husband doesn't find a job soon, for supplemental income.
ReplyDeleteI would anonymously send the money to a senior citizen who spent many years caring for her grandparents and parents before they passed away. Her finances have been annialated and she doesn't want much, however what she wants, she can't afford to hold on to much longer. I'm just leaving one entry and praying that God will provide.
ReplyDeleteI would take my hubby on a mini vacay!
ReplyDeleteI would use it to help pay for my husband's master's degree so we don't have to take out as many loans! Also maybe toward our dream trip to Italy.... :)
ReplyDeleteFly back to Africa and see my sweet family and the ones I love dearly who are working endlessly for the cause of ending sex trafficking in Malawi.
ReplyDeletedefinitely gift it to my husband...
ReplyDelete{he's in the planning stage of converting our garage into a music studio ... $$ would be the ultimate blessing}

I would pay up some bills! What a glorious feeling to not have all those calls from "unknown" numbers.
ReplyDeleteTo be perfectly honest I am 48 years old, my hard working husband 52, and we have been saving to buy a home!!! We are hoping to purchase this summer!!! ;o)
ReplyDeletewould desperately help with the high cost of textbooks for PT school! ...so i don't end up with extra crazy debt in the end :p
ReplyDeletei would pay off student loan debt for sure, and maybe put some away, and help my parents.
ReplyDeleteI would take two weeks off of work and spend those 120 hours on my babies and hubby, visit my grandpa, and finally unpack the last boxes from our move (last year!) :)
ReplyDeleteI would take two weeks off work and spend those 120 hours with my babies! We would visit great grandpa and finally unpack those boxes from our move (last year!) :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to pay off my medical bills that I have left over from my daughters birth 8 months ago. It's an expense that is hovering over our family but is also the best debt I could dream of.
ReplyDeleteI would buy new all season tires for my mini van! and go on a date with my husband :)
ReplyDeleteI would buy all season tires for the mini van and sponsor a child to go to Gardom Lake Bible Camp in the summer!
ReplyDeleteI would pay off my last school loan!
ReplyDeleteI would put it toward a really great camera...or travel...or both...
ReplyDeleteI would love to be able to buy some animals for families in need through International Child Care Ministries. Then a small treat for my boys. And then the rest, pay bills - how boring & responsible, but very much needed.
ReplyDeletepay student loan debt!
ReplyDeleteI would buy a new QUEEN-SIZED mattress. It's the pits sleeping on a full...
ReplyDeleteI would use it to buy clothes for my babies, and to help pay for flights for job meter views for my hubby who is about to finish dental school...
ReplyDeleteI would use some of it to help with our PCS to the west coast, buy someone nice as a " thank you" to my mom and mother in law for helping out with our 3 yr old daughter and 2 yr old son since baby #3 arrived, and I would do something special for my husband since he works so hard for our country and our family ;)
ReplyDeleteI would get caught up on some important bills we've fallen behind on!! And hopefully my husband could get his tooth fixed :)
ReplyDeleteI would become a National Board Certified Teacher. $1500 is exactly how much I have left to pay.
ReplyDeletebills always bills! and extra ot services for my bluebird! and possibly... a manicure.. and a venti latte....:)
ReplyDeleteI would buy a new bed for our baby, and then pay off some student loans!
ReplyDeleteWhat would I do with $1,500? Honestly, I'd buy the new appliances for our new house! Settlement is in the middle of March, and we thought we'd have PLENTY of money to get the appliances we need. Not the case. So, that's what I'd do. Get a washer and dryer, and maybe a dishwasher. :)
ReplyDeleteJust one week after buying our first house we found out why, after over 2 years of trying, we were unable to conceive. We dropped everything as we were rushed into IVF, our only chance and a short window of opportunity as my 36th birthday was fast approaching. It was now or never and never was not an option. We had bought a little fixer upper Cape Cod, and now live amongst drywall and half done projects because every cent we had was immediately funneled to our priority, the baby project. We have had to pay 100% out of pocket and managed to pay for and finance 2 rounds of IVF without the luxury of family help or insurance that includes treatment. The first transfer was not sucessful and we are currently on hold for our second while we gather together the funds we will need for the medications, over $5,000 per cycle. We just keep praying and moving forward with confidence and positivity. I would use the $1,500 towards our next cycle. It would put us just a few hundred from goal. Sorry my entry is so long! Appreciate the opportunity:) -Deni
ReplyDeleteI would buy a Bugaboo Cameleon with all the trimmings for my newborn baby boy....and diapers.......lots of diapers LOL!
ReplyDeleteGosh there is so much that could be done with that and so many amazing organizations that could use that! My friends fund for adoption or helping out Sole Hope in Uganda would be top of my list!
ReplyDeleteI'd save half and spend half at Disney World! :)
ReplyDeleteI would put it towards a new fence for our backyard.
ReplyDeleteI'd like a little getaway!
ReplyDeleteI Would Travel Take A Vacation !
ReplyDeleteEntered As Heather Hayes Panjon
I would fill up my fridge with food! Seriously that's not exciting but my kitchen is lacking food and my kids are not real happy. Times are tough. :-( anyway hope your beautiful family had a wonderful Valentines day.
ReplyDeleteMy sweet boyfriend is one of the most amazing children's pastors in his denomination and I would take him to do something super fun for his birthday coming up and then give him the rest of the money to pay for some of his school loans from IWU! :)
ReplyDeleteI would use it to take some of the financial strain off of my husband, who works full time so I can stay home with our baby boy (and he goes to grad school in the evenings!). I know he worries a lot about money and I would just love to give him some peace of mind and take some of his stress away with this $1500!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this chance to win! I would use this money towards my and my fiancées wedding :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this chance to win! I would use the money for my and my fiancées wedding!
ReplyDeleteI would kiss my husband and say we are blessed... Although that is true even if I don't win. And I may pay a bill, give a little away, save a little, spend a little and most certainly dance around :)
ReplyDeleteI would kiss my husband and say we are blessed although that is true even if I don't win. I may pay a bill, give a little, save a little, spend a little and most certainly dance around.
ReplyDeleteI would put the money towards a vacation for my parents, they're never actually been on a real vacation and they very much deserve one.
ReplyDeleteSave it for a new house!
ReplyDeleteI am currently doing a year-long unpaid internship with a college ministry so I would use the money for day-to-day finances as well as paying off bills while I do ministry work :)) and maaaybe buy myself a new pair of shoes..maybe ;)
ReplyDeleteWow! This is awesome! First I would pay office twins that are almost 2, there medical bill... 2nd i read an articles pita guy who's brother passed away and he's traveling to all the states to give "generous tips" at restaurants. I think that's so cool. I would either do something similar minus traveling or donate to his fund. Then with the rest is do a mini staycation with my family. I've always wanted to do that but have never been able to justify spending the money for it. So fun!
ReplyDeleteI would take my husband on a vacation and stop at every fabric store on the way.
ReplyDeleteI would use it to go toward bills and all the costs that come along with a new baby! (8 weeks to go!)
ReplyDeleteI'd get a head-start on the student loans that are about to begin accruing interest the month after next!
ReplyDeleteWell, if I'm feeling responsible I'll completely pay off my Target credit card. It's the only one I have...and I should probably cut it up. haha But I think ideally I'd use some for a weekend trip with my husband and dog, some in savings and then some for that silly piece of plastic.
ReplyDeleteit is pretty hard to put into words how i would spend $1500 (but i know exactly who it would go to). $1500 that would be selflessly given to me, a stranger, at that. what love! i don't know what to say - in thinking it is okay to justify why my situation, which may or may not be greater than someone else's situation who may need $1500..... i don't want to give too many details as it is still fresh in my family's hearts and minds. i know God has a purpose so I don't doubt that one bit. He is our comforter and strength in times of weakness and trials. but, what has been hard the past few months and even week is seeing my dad sick. sick with an illness that that came out of the blue for our family. good thing my mom was a nurse back in the day though, so she always has my dad's back to push to second opinions galore to make sure he is getting the correct treatment he needs.
ReplyDeletei honestly, would give the $1500 to my parents. they deserve it and they need it. they have, time and again, given to their children so much and the least i can do is give them $1500 to help them out in a time where they need it the most. it would be a blessing from Above! Iif I don't win- not in His will. If I do, I will gladly accept on behalf of my parents who probably don't even know what a blog is:0) and get to tell them a pretty cool story when I go visit them next weekend!

Well first I would probably cry in joy. Then be overwhelmed with gratitude. Followed by using it to pay bills and buy diapers...not the funnest answer but it would help.
ReplyDeletepay off bills, life's been crazy stressful lately. If any was left, I'd save it!
ReplyDeleteI would but money aside for a car for our family. And hopefully get a haircut (the 1st in 2 years.) :)
ReplyDelete|Riia|
For that money, I'd pay back some of our loans, save for a family car for us and hopefully get a haircut (the 1st in few years...) :)
ReplyDeleteI would put it towards our mortgage, boring I know...but useful! x

ReplyDeleteI would donate some to World Vision, the local animal shelter, my church, then put some in the bank, maybe buy and ipod touch and an underwater camera :)
ReplyDeletei would pay off our van. :)
ReplyDeleteI would use part of it to help out with bills while I'm on maternity leave and part of it to help fund my anniversary trip later this year.
ReplyDeleteIf I won, I would use the money towards a down payment on a house. My family is hoping to buy a home this year, and coming up with the downpayment has been difficult! This would help. :)

ReplyDeleteI would pay off some debt and get some new clothes! :)
ReplyDeletei'd give some of it away and save some! i'd also maybe get a babysitter and take my husband on a much needed date :o)
ReplyDeleteI have thought long and hard about this... there are so many things I could spend $1500 on that I "want." However, if I won this giveaway.... I would give the bulk of it to my dear parents. My dad found out he had prostate cancer back in September. Thankfully, he was able to have the top-surgeon perform his surgery and remove his cancer. PTL! However, now my parents are really struggling to pay off all of his medical bills. This would help them get that paid off!! And after that, my mom needs some things done to her back, because most of the time she can barely walk she is in such pain...
ReplyDeleteI think I would "keep" about $250. There is a ministry that I have been wanting to give to, but I just have not had the money. So I would give $100- $150 of that to them and save the other hundred for savings.
:)
Wow, what a generous gift! I would put the money away in savings...my husband is planning on starting his own job soon and we'll be taking a financial risk for that...
ReplyDeleteI would probably treat my hubby nice dinner. The rest I put toward the basement that we are currently finishing.
ReplyDeletePay off debts or start a college fund for our son.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I are moving to Nepal in April to work at an aftercare home for girls rescued from sex-trafficking. After watching the new documentary Nefarious, it again just reminds me what evil exists as these precious women and image-bearers of Christ are defiled. My heart is so raw for these women. I would donate this money to the home we are working for. I would also give some to a dear friend of mine who is adopting a child from the D.R. Congo. What a sweet thing you guys are doing:) Love Katie
ReplyDeleteI would go to Africa on a missions trip! Ethiopia, here I come!
ReplyDeleteI would probably save it for a rainy day
ReplyDeleteBoring, but a new kitchen table and put the rest into savings for a rainy day.

ReplyDeleteThis incredible giveaway would go towards our future home.. possibly some much needed furniture. :)
ReplyDeleteWe're trying to save up for the next part of our renovation (it's a 5 + yr. project) and I would likely use it towards getting our floors in since a new baby is coming home in 3 weeks!
ReplyDeleteI would love to use the money on myself, but the better part of me would use it towards the rest of the renovations we need to do to our home so we can put it up for sale and move to California.
ReplyDeleteI will use it to buy a new camera :)
ReplyDeleteI'd use some to pay back some of my savings that was spent around xmas...and something fun with the rest.
ReplyDeletehgrossman at cableone dot net
I would buy a nicer camera and promote my blog :)

ReplyDeletePay off some debt
ReplyDeleteI would help pay off the car so our insurance isn't insanely high anymore!
ReplyDeleteWow, I am so happy I found this giveaway in time! :) Only 3 hours to go...
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing $1,500 would be! I would use it to help pay our rent and buy our groceries next month. I just started my photography business and of course my husband is a musician, after moving halfway across the country this would be HUGE for us!
I would use the money to pay off debt. It would be a blessing!!
ReplyDeleteNot even sure, but it would be a huge blessing!
ReplyDeleteI would do some home improvement.
ReplyDelete
