I was tagged on instagram to share 20 things, thought it might be fun to post here too!

1. I have loved working with kids and wanted to be a mama for as long as I can remember. Pinching myself that it's all real ;). A dream come true for me.
2. I am terrified of roller coasters.
3. I have always been super sensitive and emotional.
4. I have changed incredibly much since meeting Christopher. For the much better!
5. If I could live anywhere it would be the beach. It's my happy place.
6. We already have tons of pets ( 2 of them being bunnies) yet I am reallllyyy wanting a Holland Lop. Oh my heavens. swoon.
7. I think coffee is super gross.
8. I really cannot believe that I am married to Christopher and that we have this life. I just am so thankful.
9. When I was a kid the only sandwich I would eat is bologna, cheese & jelly.
10. I remember one time when Chris and I first started dating we ran into a group of his friends at a movie theatre. One of the girls was so kind, so sweet- she absolutely oozed with something that I can't explain. I walked away from a simple conversation and decided that I wanted to be that type of person. I want people to leave a conversation with me and feel better about themselves, encouraged and loved.
11. I was the homecoming queen of my highschool.
12. I am a mega people pleaser. Trying to be better.
13. One of the most humbling and beautiful things in my life has been seeing myself in our kiddos. Looking in a tiny mirror is so incredible. It gives such insight into your own heart and gives such wisdom when dealing with situations on how to handle these tiny loves.
14. Schedules really overwhelm me.
15. I adore sweets and treats.
16. I have really fallen in love with capturing the beauty in life through photos.
17. I am the worst phone person ever. I mostly wish that I didn't have one.
18. I was an early childhood education major at Baylor...have never taken an art class before.
19. I feel like I am slowly learning who I really am.
20. I believe that loss and pain and heartache in a life can truly shape you into a kind, compassionate, absolutely beautiful person. The beauty that comes from within, it can shine through and be absolutely infectious when genuine.

  2. I have the world's longest letter than I wrote you here beside me. Every time I sit at my computer, I stare at it and tell myself to get the courage to just send it to you. Remember when we met, and I told you to your face that God put you in my life for a reason? Reading this post validates that thought even more. Maybe I'll head to the post office one day. :)

  3. There is so much beauty in the broken. Love your #20. Although life can be rough around the edges at times I love how the Lord molds us in those times into who he desires us to become. Also, relating to your #14, I'm more of a go with the flow of life kinda lady.

  6. Such great photos, and I love your list.
When I read the first few (esp. that you're terrified of roller coasters) I thought 'we really do have a lot in common,' then I read that you think coffee is gross and I was a little disappointed. ;) hehe.
But #10--I just have to tell you that you have totally impressed me as exactly that kind of person…
    Lovely.

  10. Ha ha ha, I used to be so super terrified of roller coasters until one year I went to Valleyfair (in Minnesota) with some of my friends and they told them they would cure me of my fear by making me ride with them, in the very front car. It may have worked a little too much-I rode it 17 more times after that!

  11. I was wondering, how did you learn about art if you've never taken an art class? I mean your works are so amazing and I was curious how you translated your talent to the art that you create? I truly admire artists and their unique outlook but also their fearlessness of being. You post a lot about your fears but I actually think you are quite fearless and its pretty inspiring. I usually don't comment because I feel like I don't express myself very well-I hope this one makes sense.

    1. You are so sweet, that really means a lot to me! Actually teaching art for so long really helped me understand it better! I feel like I sort of found my way as I taught it to little ones!

  12. I have a coffee bean and tea leaf ice blended practically each day but I hate real coffee and most people are really surprised by that haha. Then I read somewhere that fraps and ice blendeds are really just milkshakes masquerading to be coffee and I felt surprisingly better even though it was meant to be demeaning haha

    1. oh I love this! I love frapps, totally not the same as coffee ;) lol

I have to completely agree. Having a child has been the most rewarding experiences of my life. It has changed me in more ways than I could ever imagine.
