For months now my Ainsleigh has been saying she wants to be a Unicorn for Halloween. We looked around and weren’t having a ton of luck finding one! We decided to settle on being Elsa (hardly settling though right?! we love frozen!) but when my precious sister in law showed up with this glorious surprise! It made her whole night and better yet, we cut the pants off and made it a jacket…so now she can wear it daily! 

Aiden has rocked the same costume for 3 years in a row now because his love for Trex is unwavering and my little Appie was a fishie. My parents had a fun cookout dinner with my brother, his wife, her brother, Chris’ brother and his wife and their little one…it was a blast having everyone around the dinner table for a night. 

This time of year is my absolute favorite. Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner, hot meals in the crockpot, fall clothes and the magical feel of fellowship and community and togetherness that the holidays foster!
