HopeSpoken 2016.

Every single year I try and gather thoughts for a post on HopeSpoken and come up speechless. I can truly say there is nothing in the world like it.
I am not a “conference” person but this is different.
I see broken made beautiful, stories of redemption, songs of praise to our King, a conference that isn’t a conference at all but sisters in Christ pointing each other to our good, good Father.”

The past two years we sold out in 24 hours, so we looked into a bigger space and talked about what that would look like. But we could’t do it.
The sweetness of the intimate experience, the quirky hotel- we joke it’s sacred ground. The sweet same staff for the past three years, the funny elevators and the women who gather there.

Being completely honest this third year was like no other year.
There was a beautiful humility there.
A peace that came as it ran so smoothly, speakers with a kindness I could never explain….there was so so much beauty there.
In the behind the scene moments. There was so much sweetness to see.

I adore a good redemption story. God loves to redeem- and HopeSpoken was full of them.
Spilling them from the scenes.
We gathered Thursday evening around Neighbor’s Table for our speakers dinner and I could feel the magnitude of what we were about to step into.

We laughed, we cried. We set the tone for the weekend.

It is literally a dream come true to do this with my best friend in the world- many times I wonder if I am dreaming?!

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. // Romans 5:1-5

Every year we pray that the right people will be in that room. The right people will hear these stories.
The right people will be moved.

It is by no mistake that each person walked through that weekend with us.
It was beautiful.

Hope Spoken is a women’s conference celebrating the hope we have in Jesus and speaking our stories to bring glory to His name. Our prayer for this conference is that we all can come to know Jesus more, and make Him known in our lives. This is a weekend to rest and feel His love, to lay burdens and hurts down and feel His grace. We want to encourage women that they are enough, encourage them to use their passions, their words, and their creativity for the Lord. We, above all else, want to glorify Jesus’ name and share the hope we have in Him.

What started as a dream, became so so much more.

 I love you forever HopeSpoken.

I love what you have given so many women.

I love what they have given me.
