Yoga Up Kids!

June 20, 2016

A few weeks ago we all went out to Yoga Up and had the time of our life- seriously the kids did NOT want to leave!!! I wasn't sure what to expect going in but after our amazing experience here, I would recommend it to anyone and we will for sure be going back!!

Classes, birthday parties, camps- SO many amazing options for your little ones!

When we first arrived the kids put their shoes at the front door in a cute little basket- as soon as we came in, the entire vibe was incredibly welcoming and beautiful- my kiddos instantly felt at home.

She not only took them through Yoga activities but taught them about breathing through little art projects and even let them use her yoga hammock! The kids went from one fun activity to the next, smiling the entire time!

"We are Yoga Up! We are East Dallas’ first yoga and aerial yoga studio just for kids. Located in the Little Forest Hills neighborhood, 9105 Diceman, Dallas, TX 75218. Our boutique style studio offers classes for infants through teens.

Using stories, games, music a variety of props, and art and science exploration, we get kids moving and learning in a FUN, playful way.

It’s more than just a physical outlet.

We combine yoga with mindfulness and movement that supports sensory processing to encourage better brain function, strong bodies and thriving kids.

Yoga Up is a comprehensive practice combining neuroscience, western therapeutic practices, and sensory processing with the wisdom and teaching of yoga and mindfulness.

We utilize Mind Up and other curriculums to give kids tools to grow up with a sense of peace and self-calming on and off the mat.

The practice at Yoga Up increases life skills, teaches social and emotional learning and improve’s a child’s ability to learn themselves.

Yoga Up incorporates practices from training at both Yogapeutics and  The Little Yoga House."

Definitely check them out, we had a BLAST and will be going back as well- you will not be disappointed!!
