  1. my niece sent me your link as the tutu you sewed reminded her of my daughter. Oddly enough she is the same child who was born after I miscarried our second child at 13 wks. I read your story. I know how you felt about the loss and how you feel now. I can tell you that the fear is always kind of with you through the pregnancy. Unfortunately, once you lose a baby, you are never as fearless. But the joy is also so much brighter. And while at the time I also questioned the purpose of losing that baby, I now see and laugh and love my daughter who never would have been born had that sadness passed over us. I also believe very strongly that you will see ALL your babies in heaven someday...God just doesn't make mistakes! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. May you feel peace during this process.

  3. Oh dear! I have a superficial question... But it has to be asked! You are a busy blogger, artist and mother of two... So HOW do you do your hair to make it look so cool!

Eh hem. I could write much more deep and meaningful things because I love this blog and what you share... But, another time :)

  12. Hi Casey,
I am in love with your blog and also your instagram photos! I was wondering if you could tell me where you found the black and white bold tree fabric I've seen in some of your photos? We have a new baby boy and I would love to incorporate that fabric in his room.

    Thank you!!! Jill

I was wandering how you get sponsors? Do companys give you clothes for you to model and put on your blog? Or how does that work?

    Thanks for your time!

  26. Casey, I've been reading your blog for years. I find your entries honest, inspiring, and a breath of fresh air. Just wanted to say I'm praying for you and Chris from afar. I know it's been a difficult week; you're handling everything with true grace. Wishing you calmer weeks ahead and some peace.

  27. I am not a blogger.for some reason I have not been receiving your messages but have subscribed once more. I receive LilBlue Boos messages and was shocked at the negative reactions to your husbands film re bloggers. Not having read your messages for so long I did not know if it was still happening or not but hoped so and that you had found yourself involved with the care of our family while he was filming and had taken a sabbatical. All of this blabbering to say that I am surprised that a 2 min.trailer could give anyone enough info to be so upset and that I am looking forward to being able to see the real thing and wish you well and that those who will see it will do so with an open heart and eyes.

  28. Hey Casey, I see I can no longer leave comments at posts? Today's shirt… It's perfect for me considering where I am at life. I keep writing about that certain passage.

I just wanted to mention the AmericanBloggers film. I have heard there is some turmoil around it, though I haven't seen the turmoil myself. I just want to say that it was awesome what Chris did. And I have only seen the preview. I get what he was doing with it and I support it fully. Nothing takes away from the fact how unique this film is and how awesome. I certainly would have said yes to it. (And secretly I wish I had come up with the idea myself ;-) God bless!!

God bless his project and dream, and yours!

  30. Hi Casey - I read very few blogs, yours is one I really enjoy because of the beauty you portray along with the faith you so obviously live by. The only blog I read from the film is bridge hunt, so I was disappointed not much of her blog was highlighted. The film however was a wonderful creation and well done. God's Blessings to you and your family :-)

  31. Hi Casey and Christopher,

I have followed this blog for a very long time and I find myself inspired by your words often. I don't usually leave comments or follow along with a lot of the link ups... More than anything I feel a connection because I too have 3 little ones (boy, girl, girl) , 6, 4, and 2 and often I read your posts and smile knowing that someone else is able to share the same front row seat as I do everyday watching your children grow and play right before your eyes. I have dabbled in the blogging world (www.ginkgostreet.blogspot.com) and I have a shop on etsy selling items I love to make for fun but I haven't fully put my heart into it... yet... I feel a little vulnerable putting myself and my family out there, but I am getting there. I bought Christopher's film and thought it was AMAZING. I know that there has been skepticism surrounding the film, but for me, as a person who is in the same place as you and so many of the other women portrayed, I found it inspiring and wonderful. It couldn't fit my life anymore than what it is right now. Both you and Christopher are wonderful people and thanks so much for this film and for sharing your wonderful family with the world. You both are truly inspiring... I just though you should know...

  32. Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that I watched the movie and I loved it.
I thought it had a lot of heart, beautiful pictures and great bloggers.
Don't get discouraged by the mean people out there the ones who hate are not the strongest just the loudest, I hope you keep putting yourself out there and don't let this get you down.

  36. Thank you for writing about your loss and October 15th as a day of remembrance for those babies we're missing. I lost a pregnancy at 9 weeks and found myself pregnant a few months later with my rainbow. Unfortunately I lost her at 35 weeks. The email reminders of how old your baby should be and the milestones you're missing are so, so painful. Thank you for putting your story out there for others to read to raise awareness and for people like me to read and not feel so alone in this club of mom's who had to give a baby back.

Well, as usual the photos on your blog blew me away today...as am aspiring photographer, do you mind my asking if you get that gorgeous lite straight out of the camera or do you do it in photoshop? If it's SOC-(straight outta camera), what settings do you use? Love you, love your blog- your family is utterly adorable! God bless,
